KlimaShop!® KlimaKonfigurator! is a calculation tool for determining the approximate air conditioning needs of a room with a floor area of about 100m² (1100 ft²).
An air conditioning needs calculation is initially required to establish the appropriate dimensions of a climatic control device, and its likely air demands.
The KlimaKonfigurator! allows you to calculate the cooling capacity required to air condition a particular room.
The air conditioning requirements are a function of the following parameters, which KlimaKonfigurator! uses as input data:
• Room size
• Room height
• Roof or ceiling construction
• Area of windows (with direct sunlight)
• Number of people in the room
• Amount of heat emitted by electrical equipment inside the room e.g. by lighting, computers, TVs etc.
The air conditioning requirement value calculated is the amount of power (in Watt or BTU/h) that an air conditioner would need to use in order to maintain a temperature difference of 6-8 Kelvin (or 6-8 °C or 10-15 °F) between the temperature of the room and that of the external environment

The KlimaKonfigurator! does not replace industry-based standard heat load calculations, like VDI 2078.
The air conditioning requirements calculator can be used in any country.
However, requesting an offer is only possible in Germany.
